Farm, Distribution & Community Partners
Our farm partners grow food to feed their community.
Our distribution & community partners get food to the people in need.
FARM PARTNERS
At Farms for Food Equity, our impact starts at the source—on the farms. Each of our farm partners plays a vital role in our mission to make fresh, locally grown food accessible to all. From small family farms to larger operations, every participating farm is united by a shared commitment to sustainability, community care, and food justice. Together, we're building a more equitable food system—one harvest at a time.

DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS
Our distribution partners, Wayside Food Programs and Preble Street, are the vital connection between our farms and the families who rely on this fresh, local food. Both organizations share our commitment to food equity, working tirelessly to ensure that nutritious, high-quality produce reaches people across Maine who need it most. Together, we’ve built a collaborative network that not only supports local farmers but also strengthens community resilience—making healthy, farm-fresh food accessible to everyone.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Our Community Partners are the final, vital step in bringing our mission full circle. Fresh, locally grown produce begins at Maine farms, moves through our distribution partners—Wayside Food Programs and Preble Street—and is then delivered to the many food pantries, meal programs, and community organizations serving people across the state. Without these incredible partners on the ground, we couldn’t reach nearly as many families in need. Together, this network ensures that healthy, farm-fresh food makes its way from field to table, strengthening both our communities and local food systems.
