EVENTS

Join Us at Winslow Farm!

Saturday, July 25 | 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Winslow Farm Stand | 291 Gray Rd. Falmouth, ME

As part of our Fund a Farm campaign, Winslow Farm is teaming up with Farms for Food Equity for a community event at their Farm Stand in Falmouth, ME!

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, Farms for Food Equity purchased $9,440 worth of surplus produce from Winslow Farmβ€”helping rescue and distribute nearly 9,000 pounds of fresh, locally grown food to Maine neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

This year, we're hoping to make an even bigger impact. Every donation helps Farms for Food Equity purchase surplus produce directly from Winslow Farm, providing reliable income for our farm while ensuring fresh, nutritious food reaches local families who need it most.

It's a simple idea with a powerful impact: support local agriculture while helping feed our communities.

Can’t join us in person?
You can still make an impact by donating today. Every dollar helps us purchase more produce from Winslow Farm to feed neighbors in need.

HOST A FRESH FOOD DRIVE

Flyer promoting hosting a farm-based fresh food fundraiser to support local farms and families, featuring images of strawberries, farm workers, and produce boxes.

Farms for Food Equity’s Fresh Food Fundraisers are a fresh twist on the classic canned food driveβ€”literally.

Instead of collecting shelf-stable goods, your school, business, or community group can raise funds that FFE uses to buy fresh, local vegetables directly from Maine farms, delivering them straight to families in need.

This approach not only puts healthier, more nutritious food on tables, but also supports local farmers and keeps our food system strong.

With just $10 providing 20 pounds of potatoes or $50 supplying 75 pounds of squash, your fundraiser can make a big, immediate impactβ€”feeding neighbors and strengthening farms at the same time.

PARTNER WITH US AS A FUNDING SPONSOR

Our funding sponsorsβ€”businesses, foundations, and philanthropic organizationsβ€”play a critical role in ensuring fresh, local food reaches those who need it most while strengthening the viability of Maine’s small farms.

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, making your investment both impactful and financially beneficial.

By partnering with us, you’re not only fueling hunger relief with healthier options, you’re also supporting the local economy, building community resilience, and showcasing your organization’s commitment to social good.

Together, we can turn generosity into healthy harvests for all.
